What a statement and sadly to many, this might be a mystery.
Unless we die to ourselves and give ourself completely to Christ and His purpose now, we'll have no chance beyond this life.
Everyone desires to be recognized for their performance and we want to hear Christ say to us in glory, "Well done thou good and faithful servant". To be faithful might mean giving more of myself than I think is being asked. Go to places we never dreamed, speaking to people we don't know, loving someone who doesn't seem to like us or that we don't really like much. The bottom line is that we are, all of us, going to be asked to do things that might not be natural for us to do.
Giving my all is a small thing when compared to the fact that Christ has given us everything!!! So, the question stands, will we "die before we die?"
