"Even the weakest saint can experience the power of the deity of the Son of God, when he is willing to “let go.”" "...eternal live is the gift of God."
Two of the most important quotes for this devotion, not to diminish the balance. When we acknowledge our sin and weakness, God shows up with HIS might and power to accomplish in our life and through our life that which we could never dream! He waits our complete surrender.
How often is "...the gift of God", mistakenly stated as the "Gift from God"? When we accept God's plan of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, we are accepting a gift OF God. Not from Him, but of Him. God gives of Himself for us, to us and in us. This is how we are able to live life to the full. Blessed with the very presence, power and purpose of God alone specifically for us on a individual level!
God waits only for us to become completely empty of self that we may receive all of Him! Recognize that sin doesn't have degrees of wrong or shades of wrong; but that in His eyes, sin is sin, period.
With our gaze fixed on Him and Him alone, we can live a life filled with His grace, love and power. This to fulfill His purpose and bring glory to His kingdom. Beyond this, we participate in things we would never have dreamed or thought possible!
May we become emptied now and moment by moment only to be filled with God beyond our capacity to contain. And spill forth all of Him as a blessing in this life, that all who see us... see CHRIST!
Be Blessed Always!!!
